๐ Detailed Character Guide
๐ข Easy Difficulty
๐งโ๐ฌ Wilson (The Gentleman Scientist)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| HP | 150 |
| Hunger | 150 |
| Sanity | 200 |
| Unlock | Starting character (free) |
| Role | Utility |
Special Ability: Wilson grows a magnificent beard during Winter. The beard provides insulation (reducing cold damage) and can be shaved for beard hair, used to craft Meat Effigy (revival item). The longer the beard, the better the insulation:
| Beard Stage | Days to Grow | Insulation | Beard Hair |
|---|---|---|---|
| Short | 4 | 15 | 1 |
| Medium | 8 | 45 | 3 |
| Long | 16 | 75 | 9 |
Disadvantage: None โ Wilson is the balanced "vanilla" character, designed as the tutorial survivor.
Strategy: Wilson has no stat penalties and the highest starting sanity. Use his beard for winter survival โ let it grow fully before Winter begins, then shave it in Spring. The beard hair from a full beard crafts 3 Meat Effigies (with 3 meat + 1 beard hair each). Best choice for learning the game.
Synergies: Good with any team. No special team role but no downsides either.
๐ฅ Willow (The Firestarter)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| HP | 150 |
| Hunger | 150 |
| Sanity | 120 |
| Unlock | 640 XP or 1,100 spool |
| Role | Utility |
Special Ability: - Fire Immunity: Takes no damage from fire (but still from over-heating at high temperatures). - Lighter: Starts with a lighter that never runs out (infinite durability) โ provides light and can ignite objects. - Sanity from Fire: Gains +2 sanity per second when near lit fires (campfire, firepit, etc.). - Bernie!: Can craft a Bearger/Bernie doll. When Willow's sanity drops below 15%, Bernie grows huge and fights shadow creatures.
Disadvantage: Low sanity (120 base) โ more vulnerable to darkness and monster auras. Sanity drops quickly at night without light.
Strategy: Use the infinite lighter for early-game light (save resources on torches). Keep a firepit going to passively regain sanity. Craft Bernie early โ it's a free tank against shadow creatures and nightmare monsters. Willow excels in the Ruins where sanity management is critical.
Synergies: Pairs well with Wormwood (can stand near Wormwood's blooming light). Good for cave exploration teams.
๐ง Wendy (The Bereaved)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| HP | 150 |
| Hunger | 150 |
| Sanity | 150 |
| Unlock | 640 XP |
| Role | Summoner |
Special Ability: - Abigail: Summons her ghost sister Abigail, who fights alongside her. Abigail can be summoned from Abigail's Flower (starting item) and upgraded with mourning glories. - Night Vision: Partial night vision โ sees slightly in the dark. - Darkness Comfort: Sanity loss from darkness and monsters is reduced by 25%.
Disadvantage: 0.75ร damage modifier โ all physical damage dealt is reduced to 75% of normal. This makes direct combat noticeably weaker.
Abigail Stats by Phase:
| Phase | HP | Damage (Day) | Damage (Dusk) | Damage (Night) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Flower | 50 | โ | โ | โ |
| Stage 1 | 150 | 10 | 15 | 25 |
| Stage 2 | 300 | 15 | 25 | 40 |
| Stage 3 | 600 | 20 | 35 | 55 |
Strategy: Let Abigail do the fighting while you support. Upgrade Abigail to Stage 3 by feeding her 6 mourning glories. Use Wendy's reduced damage as a reason to focus on Abigail's DPS โ she's strongest at night. Best for players who prefer a pet/companion playstyle.
Synergies: Excellent with Maxwell (Abigail + shadow puppets = overwhelming force). Good with Wigfrid (Wigfrid tanks, Abigail deals AoE damage).
๐ชต Woodie (The Woodchopper)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| HP | 150 |
| Hunger | 150 |
| Sanity | 150 |
| Unlock | 640 XP |
| Role | Special |
Special Ability: - Lucy the Axe: Starts with Lucy, a talking axe that chops trees in 3 hits (vs. 5 for normal axe). Lucy can be recalled to hand (like a boomerang). - Werebeaver / Weremoose / Weregoose: When Woodie's were-meter fills (by chopping trees, eating monster meat, or full moon), he transforms. The transformation type depends on the idol carried: - Werebeaver: Fast chopping/mining, can eat wood for health - Weremoose: Combat form, higher damage+hp - Weregoose: Swimming form, fast water travel - Idol Crafting: Can craft Woodie's Idols to force specific transformations.
Disadvantage: The were-meter fills at inopportune times โ transforming in front of a boss or during a hound wave can be dangerous. In were-form, you lose inventory access and can't use tools.
Strategy: Use Lucy for incredibly fast tree farming. Keep an eye on the were-meter bar (visual indicator). Use the transformation offensively โ Weremoose is a solid combat form for clearing hounds or taking on medium bosses. The Weregoose form is excellent for ocean exploration in the Return of Them content.
Synergies: Great with Winona (catapults cover him while in were-form). Good with Wickerbottom (books + fast wood gathering).
โ๏ธ Wigfrid (The Performance Artist / Valkyrie)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| HP | 200 |
| Hunger | 120 |
| Sanity | 120 |
| Unlock | 960 XP |
| Role | Fighter |
Special Ability: - Battle Spear: Starts with a spear that deals 42.5 damage (vs. 34 normal). - Battle Helm: Starts with a helmet that absorbs 80% damage (same as Football Helmet, but more durable). - Damage Reduction: Inherently takes 25% less damage from all sources. - Battle Born: Gains sanity and health from killing mobs (sanitary 0.15ร damage dealt, health 0.25ร damage dealt). - Warrior's Spirit: Can craft Battle Spears and Battle Helms at any stage.
Disadvantage: Strict Carnivore โ only eats meat and meat-based dishes. Cannot eat vegetables, fruits, or honey. This limits food options, especially early game.
Strategy: Wigfrid is the best combat character for beginners. The Battle Helm and Battle Spear are massive early-game power spikes. Her damage reduction makes her incredibly tanky. The main challenge is food โ you must hunt constantly. Learn to make Meatballs (1 monster meat + 3 fillers) and Pierogi. Kill spiders, frogs, and hounds for food and sanity.
Synergies: Best tank for any boss-fighting team. Pairs with Warly (spicy dishes provide extra combat bonuses). Great with Wolfgang (both are frontliners).
๐ท๏ธ Webber (The Spider Boy)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| HP | 175 |
| Hunger | 175 |
| Sanity | 175 |
| Unlock | 640 XP |
| Role | Summoner |
Special Ability: - Monster Meat Lover: Can eat monster meat, monster lasagna, and durian without penalty (normal characters lose HP/sanity). - Spider Friend: Starts with a Spider Egg, can place Spider Dens. Neutral/friendly with spiders โ they won't attack him unless provoked. - Silk Beard: Grows a silky beard (when full, shave for 3 silk + 1 spider gland). - Webbed Feet: Can craft and place webs to slow enemies. - Spider Warriors: Can recruit spiders as followers by feeding them meat.
Disadvantage: Low sanity around non-monsters โ loses sanity near pigs, rabbits, bunnymen, catcoons, and other "innocent" mobs. This can be a problem in base if living near pigs.
Strategy: Webber's greatest strength is his spider army. Place a Spider Den near your base (keep some distance or in a pen). Harvest silk, glands, and monster meat daily. Build a spider army to take down bosses and hounds. The silk beard is a renewable silk source โ shave every 8 days.
Synergies: Amazing with Wendy (Abigail + spider army = massive AoE). Good with Wurt (both are monster-kin but Wurt loses sanity near Webber). Webber + Wortox = infinite soul loops from spiders.
๐ก Medium Difficulty
๐ช Wolfgang (The Strongman)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| HP | 200 |
| Hunger | 200 |
| Sanity | 200 |
| Unlock | 640 XP or 1,100 spool |
| Role | Fighter |
Special Ability: - Mighty Form: After eating enough (fullness > 150), Wolfgang becomes Mighty. In this form: - Damage: 2.0ร damage multiplier (highest in the game) - Carry Capacity: Can carry heavy objects (statues, boulders) at full speed - Speed: Slightly faster movement - Mightiness: Visual indicator โ bigger muscles = bigger damage - Wimpy Form: When hungry (< 100 fullness), becomes Wimpy: - Damage: 0.75ร damage multiplier - Speed: Slower - Max HP reduced (scales with hunger)
Disadvantage: Hunger drain increases with mightiness โ Wolfgang eats 1.5โ2ร more food than normal characters. Weak form makes early combat dangerous. Managing his form is a constant food pressure.
Strategy: Wolfgang is the highest DPS character in the game. Keep hunger above 200 at all times to stay Mighty. Farm large meat sources (koalefants, beefalo herds, hound waves). In Mighty form, you can solo most bosses with kiting. A fully mighty Wolfgang + Dark Sword = 136 damage per hit. Late game: combine with Warly's spicy food for even more damage.
Synergies: Best with Warly (spicy Volt Goat Chaud-Froid = even more damage). Good with Wigfrid (dual frontliners). Needs a farmer/hunter to supply food (Wickerbottom, Wormwood).
๐ค WX-78 (The Soul-less Automaton)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Base HP | 100 |
| Base Hunger | 150 |
| Base Sanity | 150 |
| Max Upgraded | 400 HP / 300 Hunger / 300 Sanity |
| Unlock | 640 XP |
| Role | Utility |
Special Ability: - Gear Upgrades: Eats gears to permanently increase stats. Each gear gives +20 max HP, +6.25 max Hunger, +6.25 max Sanity (caps at 15 gears). - Lightning Charge: Getting struck by lightning (or using a Lightning Rod) provides: - Speed boost - Night vision (glowing eyes) - Light emission - Sanity boost - Circuit System (DST Rework): Can install circuits with charged circuits for various bonuses (speed, regen, processing). - System Overload: Eating spoiled food, gears, or being struck by lightning triggers system overload (damage to nearby mobs). - No Sanity from Clothing: Does not gain sanity from wearing fashionable clothing.
Disadvantage: Slow in rain โ movement speed reduced by 50% when wet. Takes damage from standing in water (puddles, ocean). Low base stats require gear investment. Cannot gain sanity from clothing.
Strategy: Rush to find clockwork mobs (chess pieces) or tumbleweed gears. Prioritize getting 6โ8 gears for a solid stat boost. Use a Rain Hat or Eyebrella to counter rain penalties. Lightning rods near base = free speed boost during storms. The circuit system adds significant versatility.
Synergies: Good with Wickerbottom (gears from clockwork knights). Pairs with Winona's generators for circuit charging.
๐ฉ Maxwell (The Gentleman Shadow Mage)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| HP | 75 |
| Hunger | 75 |
| Sanity | 200 |
| Unlock | 1,024 XP or 1,500 spool (adventure mode completion) |
| Role | Summoner |
Special Ability: - Shadow Codex: Starts with the Codex Umbra, which allows him to summon Shadow Puppets: - Duelist: Chopping/mining puppet (costs 20 sanity, drains 1 sanity/20s) - Miner: Mining puppet (same cost) - Warrior: Combat puppet (costs 40 sanity, drains 1 sanity/8s) - Natural Sanity Regeneration: Recovers 6.6 sanity/min naturally (3ร normal rate). Sanity regenerates even in darkness. - Shadow Insight: Can see in the dark (minimal light radius always active).
Disadvantage: Very low HP (75) and Hunger (75). One-two hits from most enemies can kill him. His puppets drain sanity quickly if over-summoned, leading to nightmare creatures.
Strategy: Maxwell is a glass cannon commander. Let your shadow puppets do the work while you stay at range. Keep 3โ4 duelists for wood/farming and 1โ2 warriors for combat. Puppets don't follow through wormholes. Important: Maxwell's sanity regen stops when Codex is closed. Use the Codex strategically โ open to generate puppets, close to save sanity.
Synergies: Amazing with Wendy (both summoner types). Pairs well with Wickerbottom (books + puppets). Needs a meat shield โ Wigfrid or Wolfgang to draw aggro.
๐ง Winona (The Handywoman)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| HP | 150 |
| Hunger | 150 |
| Sanity | 150 |
| Unlock | 1,600 XP or 2,100 spool |
| Role | Builder |
Special Ability: - Catapult: Can build Winona's Catapult โ automated turret that deals 50 damage. Requires a Generator within range. - Generator: A power source that must be fueled with wood, grass or other combustibles. - Spotlight: Auto-targeting light source that illuminates night/darkness (requires generator power). - Fast Crafting: 25% faster crafting speed than other characters. - Cheap Items: Boards cost 2 planks instead of 4 (when crafting herself).
Disadvantage: None major โ Winona is a versatile builder. Her generator infrastructure requires significant resource investment.
Strategy: Winona is the ultimate base-builder. Set up a Catapult network at boss fight locations (Dragonfly Desert, Bee Queen arena). Catapults destroy the Bee Queen's grumble bees and make short work of many bosses. Spotlight + Generator = permanent light in any base location. Use her fast crafting for large construction projects.
Synergies: Excellent with Wormwood (living logs for catapult construction). Paired with Wickerbottom (books for farming, Winona builds the infrastructure). Good with Woodie (fast wood gathering feeds the generator).
๐คด Wurt (The Merm King)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| HP | 200 |
| Hunger | 200 |
| Sanity | 100 |
| Unlock | 3,200 XP or 2,100 spool |
| Role | Summoner |
Special Ability: - Merm Friendship: Merms are neutral/friendly to Wurt and can be recruited with fish. - Merm Guards: Can craft Merm Guard structures that spawn loyal merm warriors. - Merm King: Can become the Merm King by constructing a special structure โ grants loyalty, buffs, and followers. - Vegetarian: Can eat vegetables, fruits, and fish. Loves lichen and kelp. - Underwater Breathing: No penalty when wet or submerged (no sanity loss from rain). - Royal Tapestry: Can craft unique Merm-themed buildings and decorations.
Disadvantage: Low sanity (100 base) โ loses sanity in darkness and around monsters. Non-monster players lose sanity near Wurt (other players lose 25 sanity/min near her). Only eats vegetarian food + fish โ no meat. Swamp-only playstyle can be limiting.
Strategy: Wurt excels in the swamp biome. Build a base near a swamp with merm huts. Recruit merm followers to clear swamp threats, harvest reeds, and defend. The Merm King transformation is expensive but extremely powerful โ gives you a personal army. Fish farms (ponds) are essential for food and recruitment.
Synergies: Pairs well with Webber (both monster-kin, play in swamps). Good with Wormwood (plant-based food synergy). Can be tricky with normal characters (they lose sanity near her).
๐ Walter (The Fearless Ranger)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| HP | 130 |
| Hunger | 150 |
| Sanity | 200 |
| Unlock | 2,400 XP or 2,700 spool |
| Role | Utility |
Special Ability: - Woby: Starts with Woby, his loyal dog companion. Woby can: - Fetch items - Fight small enemies - Be ridden (fast travel mount when fed enough) - Store items (expanded inventory when big Woby) - Slingshot: A ranged weapon with various ammo types (pebbles, gold, fire, ice, poison). Great for kiting. - Camping Gear: Can craft a portable tent (Woby den) for sleeping anywhere. - Bee Keeper: Portable beehive for honey production without building structures.
Disadvantage: Afraid of monsters โ loses 10 sanity/minute near hostile mobs and bosses. Takes sanity damage from being hit. Ranged attacks use his slingshot ammo (can be expensive).
Strategy: Walter is a kiting expert. Stay at range with the slingshot โ use fire ammo for AoE damage and ice ammo for freezing. Woby is your mount and pack mule: feed Woby regularly and she grows into Big Woby (more inventory slots, mountable). The portable tent allows unprecedented map mobility. Learn to kite properly โ Walter's low HP and fear mechanic punish mistakes.
Synergies: Good with Wortox (soul heals for Walter + teleport to escape). Pairs with Wickerbottom (ranged support from books). Great with Winona (catapults cover melee while Walter slingshots).
๐ด Hard Difficulty
๐ Wickerbottom (The Librarian)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| HP | 150 |
| Hunger | 150 |
| Sanity | 250 |
| Unlock | 640 XP |
| Role | Support |
Special Ability: - Knows It All: Can craft Tier 1 science items without a Science Machine. Excellent early-game power spike. - Books: Can craft and read special books with powerful effects: - Birds of the World: Spawns a flock of birds (20 uses) - On Tentacles!: Spawns tentacles that attack enemies (5 uses) - The End is Nigh!: Lightning strikes in an area (5 uses) - Lunar Grimoire: Summons lunar effects (Requires lunar materials) - Horticulture, Abridged: Instantly grows nearby plants (5 uses, 33 range) - Gardening Expanded: Giant crop-focused gardening book - Applied Silviculture: Grows nearby trees (15 uses, 8 range) - Sleepytime Stories: Puts nearby creatures to sleep (5 uses) - Expert Forager: Knows recipes by heart (like a Walking Stick from memory).
Disadvantage: Insomniac โ cannot sleep (tent, straw roll, etc. have no effect). Must manage sanity through food, clothing, and books. Books also cost sanity to read.
Strategy: Wickerbottom is a knowledge powerhouse. Rush a Science Machine for Tier 2, then focus on books. Horticulture, Abridged is the best farming tool in the game โ instant crop growth. On Tentacles! is incredible against bosses (spawn 30+ tentacles and they'll kill anything). The End is Nigh! provides light and damage. The no-sleep restriction means you must always have sanity recovery options (cooked green caps, taffy, cooked cactus flesh).
Synergies: Perfect with Wormwood (books grow Wormwood's plants). Pairs with Wolfgang (fast tech, Wolfgang protects). Incredible with Winona (catapult + tentacle field = death zone).
๐ Wes (The Mime)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| HP | 75 |
| Hunger | 75 |
| Sanity | 75 |
| Unlock | 320 XP or 150 spool |
| Role | Special |
Special Ability: - Balloons: Can create and pop balloons. Popping balloons restores a small amount of sanity to nearby players. Balloons can also carry items. - Pantomime: No speech โ communicates through mime. Other characters don't understand him. - No Negative Aura: Other characters do not lose sanity from Wes's presence.
Disadvantage: All stats are 75 โ lowest stats in the game. No combat bonuses. Everything is harder for Wes. Wes is a challenge character.
Strategy: Wes is the hard-mode character โ pick him for the challenge. Use balloons for minor team support (sanity regen when popped). His low stats mean you must be very careful with every fight. Wes is terrible for beginners but a badge of honor for veterans.
Synergies: A burden on most teams. Best with characters who don't need help (Wolfgang, Wigfrid).
๐ณ Warly (The Chef)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| HP | 150 |
| Hunger | 150 |
| Sanity | 200 |
| Unlock | 2,560 XP |
| Role | Support |
Special Ability: - Chef Pouch: Starts with a Chef Pouch (seasoning pack) that can hold 6 spices. - Spices: Can craft 3 special spice blends: - Honey Spice: Foods heal +50% more HP - Garlic Spice: Reduces damage taken by 10% for 2 days - Pepper Spice: Increases damage dealt by 10% for 2 days - Salt Spice: Increases max HP by 25% for 2 days - Chili Spice: Gives heat resistance (Summer) - Sugar Spice: Increases movement speed for 2 days - Portable Crock Pot: Can craft and deploy a portable Crock Pot. - Portable Seasoning Station: Can craft a portable seasoning station. - Gourmet Chef: Can taste food (1 second preview of what a dish does).
Disadvantage: Picky Eater โ food only fills 75% hunger per item. Food spoils 25% faster in his inventory. He needs 1.5ร more food than normal characters.
Strategy: Warly is the ultimate team support. Cook meals and apply spices to buff your team. Pepper Spice + Wolfgang = devastating DPS. Garlic Spice on tanks = incredible survivability. Honey Spice on healers = massive healing. The Portable Crock Pot lets you cook anywhere โ bring it on boss fights. Spice up an entire stack of meatballs/pierogi for sustained team buffs.
Synergies: Best team support character. Amazing with Wolfgang (pepper spice + mighty form). Pairs with Wortox (soul heals + warly food buffs). Incredible with Wigfrid (garlic spice on the tank).
๐ฑ Wormwood (The Livid Mossling / Plant Boy)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| HP | 150 |
| Hunger | 150 |
| Sanity | 200 |
| Unlock | 1,280 XP or 1,900 spool |
| Role | Support |
Special Ability: - Plant Synergy: Gains health from using fertilizers (manure, guano, compost). Can craft living logs from own health (costs 20 HP + some sanity). - Blooming: During Spring and when fertilized, Wormwood blooms: - Emits light - Regenerates health - Nearby crops grow faster - Attracts butterflies - Plant Growth: Plants seeds without digging โ just drop on tilled soil. - Posion Immunity: Immune to poison (if mods add poison mechanics). - Bramble Armor: Can craft bramble armor that damages attackers. - Bramble Trap: Can place traps that damage enemies. - Compost Wraps: Natural HP regen from compost items.
Disadvantage: Cannot eat meat or meat products at all. 75% healing from food (food healing reduced by 25%). Takes damage from walking on manure/guano. Blooming can be inconvenient (light at night attracts attention).
Strategy: Wormwood is the best farmer/gardener in the game. Plant giant crops efficiently using his seed-dropping ability. Living logs are a renewable resource (craft from health) โ feed him to Winona's catapults or use for magic items. Stay near compost or apply fertilizer regularly. Blooming during combat provides free light and regen.
Synergies: Perfect with Wickerbottom (Horticulture book grows his plants). Pairs with Winona (living logs for catapults). Good with Wurt (both vegetarians).
๐น Wortox (The Imp / Shadow Soul Keeper)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| HP | 150 |
| Hunger | 175 |
| Sanity | 175 |
| Unlock | 2,560 XP |
| Role | Support |
Special Ability: - Soul System: Collects souls from killed creatures (max 20 souls). Souls can be used for: - Soul Heal: Consume a soul to heal 20 HP - Soul Teleport: Consume a soul for short-range teleport - Soul Friendly: Share souls with other players (feed souls to heal teammates) - Soul Decay: Souls decay over time (eventually disappear) - Reduced Naughtiness: Killing innocent creatures gives less naughtiness. - Crafts from Souls: Can craft soul-based items.
Disadvantage: Naughtiness Gain โ killing neutral/friendly creatures still gives some naughtiness (Krampus risk). Cannot eat normal meat that once had a soul โ can only eat monster meat, eggs, and vegetable dishes. Souls decay (must be used or lost).
Strategy: Wortox is the ultimate mobile support/healer. Collect souls from spiders, hounds, and other enemy waves. Use Soul Teleport to dodge attacks and reposition. Share souls with teammates to keep everyone healthy in boss fights. The 20-soul cap means you must spend them efficiently. Soul Heal is more efficient than most healing items.
Synergies: Best support healer. Amazing with Wolfgang (keeps him in Mighty form with heals). Pairs with Warly (soul heals + spice buffs = unstoppable team). Good with Wendy (Abigail kills count for soul collection).
โฐ Wanda (The Time Mage / Old Lady)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| HP | 75 (varies with age) |
| Hunger | 150 |
| Sanity | 200 |
| Unlock | 3,200 XP |
| Role | Special |
Special Ability: - Aging Mechanic: Wanda has 3 age stages. She automatically ages over time and can craft Ageless Watch to reset age: - Young: 75 HP, lower damage, slower - Middle: 113 HP, moderate damage - Old: 150 HP, higher damage (1.5ร multiplier with ranged weapons) - Clock Weapons: Can craft special alarm clock weapons that deal more damage when Wanda is older: - Alarm Clock: Melee weapon, damage scales with age - Second-Hand Watch: Ranged throwable weapon, returns to hand (like boomerang) - Time Piece: Wristwatch that slows enemies - Backstep Watch: Short-range teleport (dodge ability, like Soul Teleport but on cooldown). - Time Manipulation: Can craft watches that reduce construction times.
Disadvantage: Low HP as Young (75). Sanity drain from unnatural aging methods. Health and damage are tied to age โ managing your age is critical.
Strategy: Wanda is a high-risk, high-reward character. Stay Old for maximum damage (1.5ร multiplier on clock weapons). Use the Backstep Watch to dodge attacks (no invincibility frames, just repositioning). Keep Ageless Watches crafted and ready. The Second-Hand Watch is excellent for kiting. Wanda rewards aggressive play โ the older you are, the harder you hit, but the more you need to avoid damage.
Synergies: Good with Wortox (soul heals cover her low HP). Pairs with Wigfrid (Wigfrid tanks, Wanda DPS). Works well in experienced teams.

๐ก Pro Tips: - You can earn XP by playing any character or by spending spools at the Klei Rewards screen - Roleplay characters (Warly, Wortox, Wickerbottom) are challenging but extremely rewarding in team play - Wanda and Wes are the hardest characters to master โ they reward veteran knowledge - The "W" naming convention isn't a coincidence โ almost every character's name starts with W (Wilson, Willow, Wolfgang, Wendy, etc.) - Use the interactive table above to quickly compare any character's base stats!
